  Friendly service. Pan fried haddock and the Chicken and mushroom crepe were delicious! Decent prices. Local beer on tap - the Big Spruce Kitchen Ale was tasty but could have been just a little bit colder. Just a minor thing...overall, we would be happy to return here. Watching the sunset was a bonus at this lovely location.

  The food was positively delicious. The staff were warm and friendly. The local beer on tap was great! The only thing keeping it from 5 stars is the prices. $40 for lunch for two is CRAZY. The food was good, but the wallet hurt.

  The most delicious food we had on our trip. Great service! The Lobster Poutine was to die for. We enjoyed dinner on the patio overlooking the water and Cheticamp Island, lovely view! Perfectly seasoned fish and chips and a great glass of chardonnay completed this experience. Would definitely go back.

  Fast service for food. Decent and satisfying for what we had. A great place to find comfort food. They have a nice view too!

  We were happy to find a dog friendly spot to enjoy some delicious food! The burger was much to my husband's liking, he is a burger aficionado and said the Hometown Gourmet was awesome. I had pan fried haddock with Caesar Salad which was excellent. My daughter decided she wanted a jam and honey sandwich - not on the menu! The woman taking orders solved that by suggesting toast with jam and using some of the honey they have for tea - huge win! We would highly recommend this spot it has a full menu and lots of options to suit your taste! The staff was friendly and provided great service.
